I started my insurance career as a licensed Property and Casualty Agent at Twin Cities Insurance in Toledo in 2000. In 2001 Fritz retired and sold the agency to become the Insurance Agency of Bohemian Mutual.
I live in rural Chelsea with my husband John Novotny, a Tool & Die Maker at Ledford Engineering in Cedar Rapids. We are partners in a farming operation with his family. We have two boys, Ethan & Derek, who are grown and live and work in this area. They also help on the family farm. I’m also a member of the St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Chelsea.
It has been a blessing working in a small-town agency in that I get to watch my customers’ families grow and I get to work with the multiple generations through our office. An added bonus is becoming friends with many of my customers.
